Summary As the Head Custodian, you will oversee all custodial operations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our facility. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your core responsibilities will include managing janitorial staff, implementing cleaning protocols, and maintaining floor care standards. Your extensive janitorial and custodial experience will be essential in upholding our organization's cleanliness and hygiene standards. Additionally, your skills in facilities maintenance and industrial cleaning will enhance operational efficiency, making you a vital asset to our team. We are looking for a someone to take over a two medium size location for the Forest services supervisor office located in Crawfordville, FL. This contract is for the next 3 years and we are looking for someone motivated, responsible and able to micromanage on its own. The office cleaning included sweeping, mopping, dustin, trash disposal and other general cleaning services. Must have experience in active Janitorial services. Services have to be provide twice per week on Tuesday & Friday between the hours of 5 PM - 11:00 PM. Qualifications Extensive janitorial and custodial experience in commercial settings Proficient in industrial cleaning techniques and floor care Strong knowledge of cleaning protocols and safety standards Experience in facilities maintenance and porter duties Ability to perform residential painting and buffing tasks as needed Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards Responsibilities Oversee and perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Manage floor care activities, including buffing and waxing, to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, addressing any maintenance needs promptly. Coordinate janitorial staff and provide training on best practices in custodial services. Implement industrial cleaning procedures as required and assist with residential painting projects when necessary.
