A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

As a Part-time Janitor, you'll provide top notch Janitorial services to the housing communities by: Ensuring that the offices, residential units, common areas and interior areas are cleaned and properly maintained according to specified guidelines. Demonstrating the ability to move items as necessary and adhere to safety rules and regulations. Performing some maintenance duties as necessary. The ideal candidate will possess the following: High School Diploma or higher education. Technical school or equivalent maintenance, janitorial or grounds keeping experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Computer and technical skills Ability to travel as necessary for training Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Ability to be flexible and receptive to diverse population Must have and maintain a valid driver's license AHEPA offers Paid Holidays; great work / life balance; and a generous 403b retirement plan We look forward to hearing from you!
