Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

PM Eastern Description Benefits Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Four (4) years of custodial experience, with two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role. Must have own transportation to report to other College locations assigned. Must be forklift certified within one year of employment. Must possess a valid driver's license.
Working Hours:
7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the daily activities of custodial staff. Inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with company standards. Train, coach, and evaluate custodial employees on proper cleaning procedures, equipment uses, and safety practices. Conducts employee evaluations and performance management activities. Plan and coordinate staffing assignments, shift coverage, and resource allocation to meet operational needs and service expectations. Assists with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, coaching, disciplinary actions, and employee development. Conduct routine facility inspections and quality control assessments to verify compliance with established cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards. Assign work orders and cleaning tasks to team members and monitor completion. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials; order replacements as needed. Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and tools. Respond promptly to facility-related issues, emergencies, and special cleaning requests. Develop and implement cleaning schedules for routine, deep-cleaning, and special projects. Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures, including OSHA and environmental regulations. Prepare reports, maintain records, and document staff performance, attendance, and work activities. Coordinate with facility management, contractors, and other departments to support operational needs. Assist with custodial duties as required during staffing shortages or special events. Drives college vehicles and operates golf carts and light trucks to retrieve/return supplies, equipment, tools, etc.) Conducts and attends departmental meetings to discuss weekly plans, event set-up, safety, training, etc. Other duties and special projects as assigned and directed by the President or their designee.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Be able to follow oral and/or written communications. ? Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, managing a work order system and able to clock in/out and view other personnel related information (i.e., paycheck, W-2, etc.). Knowledge of custodial cleaning methods, equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are important. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience with scheduling, staffing, and employee performance management. Ability to identify and resolve operational issues effectively. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
