Duties Perform thorough cleaning of office areas, including desks, floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination Conduct sanitation procedures to ensure restrooms and kitchen areas meet health standards Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing supplies, minor repairs, or painting as needed in residential or commercial settings Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities, including heavy lifting and manual handling practices Maintain cleaning logs and report any facility maintenance issues promptly to ensure continuous operational efficiency Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques Skilled in handling cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and chemical sprayers Strong understanding of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary Experience in custodial work within facilities maintenance or Porter roles preferred Knowledge of safety protocols related to facilities maintenance, chemical handling safety procedures, and industrial cleaning practices Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards Join our team today!
