Schedule:
Primarily night shift About Magic Touch Commercial Cleaning Company Magic Touch Commercial Cleaning Company provides post-construction cleaning, commercial janitorial, pressure washing, soft washing, floor care, and facility support services across Florida and Georgia. We are growing. We have gone from around 20 locations to more than 40, we are adding markets, and we are building the management structure to support what comes next. This position exists because of that growth — and the person who takes it will grow with us. About the Position You are the person who walks in after the work is done and decides whether it meets our standard. This is a quality control and training role. You inspect completed cleaning work at assigned locations, score it against our written standard, train our cleaners on how we expect the job done, and document what you find so management can act on it. We will teach you the Magic Touch standard — our checklists, our inspection process, our systems. What we cannot teach you in a week is an eye for detail and the experience of having been responsible for other people's work. You need to bring those with you. We are looking for someone who wants to build something here. This position starts part-time. As our territory grows, this role grows — in hours, in responsibility, and in level. Our career track runs Quality Control Specialist 1 → QC2 → QC Supervisor, and it is written into our employee handbook, not promised verbally. The person who fills this role and performs is the person we promote. What You'll Be Doing Inspections Inspect completed cleaning work at assigned locations and score it against the Magic Touch standard Photograph and document findings, and submit your report the same night Re-inspect locations after corrective action to confirm the fix held Identify patterns — the same issue at the same location week after week is a training problem, and you are the one who spots it Training Train new hires on our cleaning standards, procedures, and expectations Retrain existing team members when inspections show a gap Demonstrate the work when showing is faster than telling Help new team members get up to speed during their first weeks Support and Follow-Up Follow up on client concerns at small and mid-size accounts and confirm the issue was actually resolved Deliver supplies and confirm each location is stocked before it runs short Verify chemicals and equipment are being used correctly and stored properly Report access issues, equipment problems, and safety concerns immediately How This Role Fits You report to the Regional Operations Manager. You document what you find and make recommendations — decisions on discipline and client communication stay with management. That structure protects you and it protects the company, and we are clear about it up front. Growth and Initiative We are a growing company with a small management team. The people who do well here are the ones who see something that needs doing and pick it up without being asked. In the early stages, this role may include responsibilities beyond inspections and training as we build out the territory — supporting a project, helping cover a location during a transition, taking on a new account. We are not asking you to do that forever. We are telling you honestly that a growing company asks more of its people early, and we recognize the people who step up. If you are looking for a role with a fixed list of duties that never changes, this is not it. If you are looking for a place where showing initiative actually leads somewhere, apply. Travel This role covers multiple locations in a single shift. You will be based in North Jacksonville and will service accounts in Nassau County, Florida, and in Kingsland and St. Marys, Georgia. You must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance, and you must be comfortable with regular driving between sites, including across the Georgia state line. We reimburse mileage. Work Schedule Primarily night shift, Monday through Friday One to two daytime shifts per week for locations serviced during business hours Rotating weekend check-ins 25 to 32 hours per week to start, with a clear path to full-time as the territory grows We are direct about the hours because we would rather you know now than find out in week two. Requirements Minimum 2 years of commercial cleaning experience — offices, medical, industrial, or multifamily At least 1 year in a lead, trainer, supervisor, or similar role where you were responsible for other people's work Strong eye for detail — you can walk into a room and immediately see what was missed Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance Smartphone with active service — photo documentation and reporting are part of every shift Able to work nights independently without a supervisor on site Able to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout a shift, and lift up to 40 lbs Must pass a background check and drug screening Preferred Floor care experience — strip and wax, burnishing, carpet extraction Bilingual English / Spanish Experience with a cleaning inspection or workforce management app Post-construction or final-clean experience What We Expect Magic Touch holds everyone to the same standard, management included. We expect accountability, clear communication, respect for our team and our clients, and work you are willing to put your name on. How to Apply Read the full posting. If this is the right fit, apply now and begin your message with the phrase: "I know what clean looks like." Include the following: Where you have worked and what kind of buildings — offices, medical, industrial, multifamily Who you have trained or led, and what that looked like Confirmation you have a reliable vehicle and are comfortable driving to Nassau County and into Kingsland / St. Marys, GA Confirmation you are available for night shift In one or two sentences: what is the thing you see cleaners miss most often? Applications that do not follow these instructions will not be considered.
Pay:
From $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 32.0 per week
Benefits:
Paid training Referral program Application Question(s): How many years of commercial cleaning experience do you have? (Offices, medical, industrial, or Education.) Have you been responsible for training or leading other cleaners? Briefly describe. Do you have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance? This role requires regular travel between Jacksonville, Nassau County FL, and Kingsland / St. Mary's GA. Are you comfortable with that? This position is primarily night shift, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend check-ins. Are you available? This position starts at 25-32 hours per week and grows to full-time as our territory grows. Does that work for you right now? This is a growing company. Are you comfortable taking on responsibilities beyond your core role as we build out this territory? Are you willing to consent to a background check and drug screening?
