Full-Time, Non-Exempt Beach Property Services is seeking a dependable, hardworking Common Area Cleaner to join our team at a condominium complex located on Okaloosa Island. This position works as part of a team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of the property's common areas for owners, guests, and staff.

Schedule:

40 hours per week, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Weekends are required, and some holidays will be required. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain common areas to ensure a clean, attractive, and safe environment for owners, guests, and employees. Work cooperatively as part of the on-site cleaning and maintenance team. Wipe and clean railings on each floor. Mop spills and clean walkways, stairwells, and pool deck areas, as applicable. Clean and sanitize garbage rooms, including trash bins, walls, and trash chutes. Clean and polish stainless steel surfaces on elevators. Remove debris from elevator tracks. Mop elevator floors and dry mop as needed to remove moisture and residue. Pick up loose trash and debris throughout the property grounds. Empty trash cans, ashtrays, and cigarette disposal containers. Clean and sanitize tables and chairs in common areas. Clean and sanitize common-area bathrooms. Restock paper towels, toilet tissue, and other restroom supplies. Clean picnic areas and BBQ grills, as applicable. Pick up pet waste in common areas and report violations to management. Remove cobwebs and dryer lint throughout the building. Change light bulbs as needed. Clean common-area windows and doors. Assist team members with maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the condominium property. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Knowledge of general property upkeep, including maintaining clean, orderly, and safe common areas. Dependable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Positive communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with coworkers, owners, guests, vendors, and management. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Excellent time-management skills with the ability to stay on task and complete assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision. Minimum Education and Experience 1-2 years of grounds maintenance, janitorial, housekeeping, or common-area cleaning experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent.
