Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards. Conduct laundry duties including folding, and organizing linens as needed. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or furniture safely following proper procedures. Manage outdoor cleaning tasks including sweeping walkways, cleaning windows, and maintaining outdoor areas. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service. Use janitorial tools and equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for custodial work. Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards. Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with the use of various cleaning equipment and detergents. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities. Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to prioritize daily tasks efficiently. Good communication skills for client interaction and teamwork purposes. Experience with laundry processes and outdoor cleaning is advantageous. Ability to follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment.
