What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facility Cleaner to join our team in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy office environment. This full-time position requires 40 hours per week and offers year-round stability.

$14.00 per hour

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) featuring free counseling services Key Responsibilities Clean, sanitize, and maintain office spaces, restrooms, breakrooms, corridors, and common areas. Perform routine tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and window cleaning. Restock paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, and other routine office supplies. Ensure all cleaning equipment is safely operated, properly maintained, and stored correctly. Follow all company safety procedures and standards regarding hazardous materials and chemical handling. Report facilities issues, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to management promptly. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous commercial or office cleaning experience preferred, but training is available. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and moving continuously throughout the shift.
