Janitorial Services Worker Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Worker to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our office facilities. This part-time position involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The role requires a self-motivated individual capable of managing their time effectively within a limited schedule. Responsibilities Vacuum three office areas to maintain a tidy workspace. Clean and sanitize two bathrooms (boys and girls), including multiple stalls and urinals in the boys' bathroom. Clean and tidy the commercial kitchen on a weekly basis, ensuring all surfaces are hygienic. Empty all trash receptacles throughout the facility. Mop the floor in the front lobby to uphold cleanliness standards. Perform cleaning tasks efficiently within a schedule of approximately 2.5 hours per day, two days a week (preferably Monday and Thursday). Adapt to schedule changes due to holidays or other unforeseen circumstances while maintaining consistent cleaning routines. Qualifications Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required. Strong task orientation with the ability to complete assigned duties independently. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to maximize productivity within limited hours. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work effectively in a team environment if needed, and follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures.
