This position complies with the Respect of Florida Program , a Florida-based initiative to promote employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Through nonprofit agencies, the program provides employment opportunities in the areas of custodial, landscaping, and food preparation services to a multitude of County and State agencies. The program requires that 51-75% of the services provided be completed by individuals who meet the definition of a federal disability. Keeps the assigned area in a clean and orderly condition Prepare chemicals for use in the performance of various cleaning tasks, by instructions Care for equipment and perform routine maintenance and cleaning as needed Perform cleaning duties as instructed and assigned, including but not limited to: Restroom cleaning, replenishing paper products, and soap in restrooms. Office cleaning, empty trash receptacles, dust surfaces, damp wipe surfaces, vacuum, sweep Removal of trash Floor cleaning, sweep, dust mop, damp mop, and wet mop Performance of cleaning duties may take place in an indoor/outdoor environment, depending on the customer's needs All other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and/orExperience:
Six months of experience or equivalent combination of training and experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Competencies:
