What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

New $15 Hourly Rate for 2026-2027!!!! Custodians needed for Kelly Education in the Clay County School District No previous experience required! Substitute Custodial Workers (also known as Janitors, Custodians, or Maintenance Workers) Working in a school district is a rewarding experience. We would love for you to join our team! Minimum Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to work 1 Monday & 1 Friday each month Must work 5 assignments within first 30 days of employment Must work at least 4 assignments per month
