Duration:
5+ Months Schedule Sunday through Friday 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM - Saturday off (6-day work week)
Work Environment:
Cold production environment (30 F to 40 F) Steel-toe boots required Candidates should be comfortable working in refrigerated conditions for the duration of their shift
Position Summary:
The Sanitation Associate I is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food production equipment, tools, and work areas to maintain safety and quality standards. This is a production sanitation role, not a janitorial or housekeeping position.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize production rooms and food processing areas Wash and sanitize equipment including tables, dicer machines, metal detectors, shelves, and small hand tools Clean and sanitize knives and other production equipment Use basic cleaning equipment and supplies such as mops, brooms, sponges, and approved sanitation chemicals Follow sanitation procedures, food safety standards, and company policies Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous sanitation or cleaning experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, food production, or industrial environment Experience working in cold-temperature environments preferred Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety Reliable attendance and ability to work a 6-day schedule
