What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Responsible for the cleanliness of office space and common areas that include the interior and exterior. Works throughout the Punta Gorda campus, is not assigned exclusively to one area. Assists with the receiving, delivery and stocking of supplies. Works with a variety of cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe manner. Utilizes provided safety equipment and supplies. Works with and around other staff members. Works around patients. Benefits Dental, vision, health, and life insurance. Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
