A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning of residential and/or commercial spaces including floors, surfaces, and restrooms Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub various floor types and surface materials Dust, wipe down, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, and high-touch areas Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed Restock cleaning supplies and report low inventory to supervisors Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment Maintain a clean and organized work environment while meeting quality standards
Requirements:
Prior cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures is a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Positive attitude and strong work ethic — the \"grind\" mentality is a must!
