Custodian / Facilities Team Member — Ananda Farm Ananda Farm is a 40-acre farm and agritourism destination on Terra Ceia Island, just off the Skyway Bridge. Guests come for live music, U-Pick flowers, tree houses, farm-to-table food, and local art. Keeping 40 acres clean, stocked, and running smoothly is what makes all of that possible — that's this job. We're hiring a Custodian to handle the cleanliness, upkeep, and day-to-day flow of the property. This is a mostly behind-the-scenes role: cleaning rotations, trash, restocking, small fixes, and jumping on whatever comes up during the day. You'll be moving around the property rather than sitting in one spot, and no two days look quite the same. What you'll do Complete regular cleaning rotations across the property — trash pickup, wiping down tables, restrooms, and checking public areas Empty trash cans and restock supplies at restrooms and hand-washing stations Handle basic maintenance and fix-it tasks during the day, reporting larger issues to the Operations Manager Help receive deliveries and move items where they need to go Respond to real-time operational needs and problem areas as directed by the Operations Manager Occasionally help with parking logistics or pitch in with other departments Keep a positive, can-do attitude and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff What we're looking for Reliable weekend availability — Saturday and Sunday are our busiest days Someone who works well independently and takes pride in a property that looks sharp Comfort being on your feet and outdoors for most of a shift Basic handiness — you can tighten a bolt, unclog a drain, or swap a light bulb without needing direction Friendly with guests, since you'll be working in public areas while they're here Custodial, janitorial, groundskeeping, or maintenance experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person Valid driver's license [if they'll be driving a cart, truck, or helping park cars — otherwise cut] Must be [16/18]+ Physical requirements Standing, walking, and moving around the property for most of a shift Working outdoors in Florida heat, humidity, and occasional rain Bending, kneeling, and reaching as part of routine cleaning Why Ananda Most custodial jobs are inside a building under fluorescent lights. This one is on a working farm with live music on the weekends, produce in the fields, and guests who are glad to be here. If you'd rather be outside and moving, it's a good trade.
