Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your efforts will directly contribute to the comfort and safety of our staff, visitors, and clients. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a professional appearance. Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs when needed. Follow established health and safety procedures to prevent accidents or hazards within the facility. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or issues requiring specialized repair or attention. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques. Knowledge of floor care procedures including buffing and polishing for various flooring types. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies. Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently and safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
