Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Cleaning Technician to oversee and coordinate cleaning operations across various homes in the Orlando/Horizon West area. We are a new cleaning business and will be growing quickly throughout the area. Any new hire will need to be flexible and able to adjust to a new business. Some days will be busy, some days will be slow, some days there will be no work until we can fill our schedule. The reward for this position will be quick advancement once the business takes off. Responsibilities Supervise and manage a team of cleaning technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols aligned with industry best practices and safety regulations Conduct inspections of work areas to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to safety standards Coordinate industrial cleaning projects, including large-scale sanitation efforts in commercial or hospitality settings Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to cleaning operations Communicate effectively with management, staff, and clients to address needs, resolve issues, and improve service quality Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies inventory, safety incidents, and staff performance Requirements Proven experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or industrial sanitation with a strong background in janitorial services or housekeeping management Supervisory or team management experience in a cleaning or hospitality environment Knowledge of safety regulations and sanitation standards applicable to industrial or commercial settings Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively Excellent communication skills for managerial interactions and customer service excellence Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment Prior experience in a professional cleaning position is necessary Demonstrated understanding of cleaning & sanitation management practices across various industries Join us as a Lead Cleaning Technician where your expertise will elevate cleanliness standards while leading a motivated team.
