Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of cabin interiors, including floors, seats, windows, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques. Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel emergency procedures to ensure proper use and storage of cleaning products. Vacuum carpets and upholstery to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Conduct sanitation of high-touch areas such as armrests, tray tables, door handles, and control panels to prevent the spread of germs. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving cleaning supplies or furniture while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Support hotel housekeeping management by following established protocols for cleanliness, safety, and guest service excellence. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and chemical sprayers efficiently. Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning is advantageous. Familiarity with safety procedures related to chemical handling and sanitation practices in a hospitality setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Experience with hotel emergency procedures ensures preparedness for any unforeseen situations requiring quick action. Physical capability for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
