A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
As a cabin cleaner, you'll be responsible for ensuring that each rental is thoroughly cleaned and guest-ready. Duties include but are not limited to: Full interior cleaning of the cabin after guest stays
Kitchen:
Clean and sanitize all surfaces, sinks, countertops, and floors; clean inside and outside of large and small appliances , including refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, coffee makers, and toasters Living areas and bedrooms: Dust and clean all surfaces, vacuum and mop floors, remove trash, and straighten furnishings
Linens:
Strip and remake all beds with fresh linens; launder sheets, pillowcases, blankets, towels, and other washable items
Bathrooms:
Sanitize toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, mirrors, and vanities; restock essentials if applicable
Floors:
Sweep, vacuum, and mop all flooring in every room
Dusting:
Wipe down furniture, baseboards, windowsills Exterior areas: Sweep porches and decks, remove cobwebs, tidy up any outdoor furniture or décor Grill maintenance: Empty and clean outdoor grills after guest use Hot tub maintenance: Drain, clean, and refill hot tubs as scheduled; sanitize as needed
Fireplaces:
Clear ashes and prepare fireplaces for next use during the winter season
Qualifications:
Previous cleaning experience in vacation rentals, hotels, or hospitality preferred Ability to follow detailed cleaning checklists and uphold high standards Comfortable using a smartphone app and email for scheduling and communication Must have reliable personal transportation and the ability to drive to different cabin locations Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail are a must Must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
