Janitor/Storage Facility Tech Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor/Storage Facility Tech to maintain cleanliness and organization within our facility. This role involves ensuring a safe, sanitary, and well-maintained environment through routine cleaning, floor care, and facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of manual handling and heavy lifting to support various operational needs. Responsibilities Perform sanitation duties to uphold cleanliness standards across all areas of the facility. Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing to maintain a tidy appearance. Carry out general facilities maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and infrastructure are in good working order. Handle manual tasks such as moving supplies, equipment, or storage items safely and efficiently. Engage in heavy lifting as needed for the transportation and organization of storage items or cleaning supplies. Maintain safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting shortages or repairs needed. Experience Prior experience in janitorial work, facilities maintenance, or related roles is preferred. Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting safely is essential. Familiarity with sanitation procedures and floor care techniques is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and reliability are key qualities for success in this position.
