JOB LOCATION

SERVICES SCHEDULE
Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
POSITION SUMMARY
Collect and transport regular trash to the compactor, also collect and transport all bio-hazardous waste from all designated areas of the hospital to the roll-off containers for proper storage until pick-up. Daily cleaning of floors in corridors and other assigned areas. Project cleaning of walls, lights, induction units, windows, etc. All work to be done in accordance with the standard procedures of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with the facility's objectives. Will use cleaning equipment including 20''rotos, automatic floor machines, commercial vacuums, 24 oz. Wet mops, large wringers, and other necessary equipment, tools, products and supplies. Participates in the department's performance improvement activities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must satisfy requirement of pre-employment and annual physical including being able to climb ladders. Must be able to pass test of skills and mechanical aptitude to detect equipment malfunctions for safety to self and others.
