A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Mid-Day Day Porter where your energy and attention to detail will keep our facilities spotless, safe, and welcoming. In this role, you will work during regular business hours from 11:00am to 3:30pm to keep the delearship environment pristine. You will focus on real-time upkeep, touchpoint and reset disinfecting and addressing unexpected spills in high-traffic areas. Your proactive approach will ensure that the environment meets the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, creating a positive experience for everyone, including the customers. Duties Regularly monitoring, cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restrooms with soap and paper products. Wiping down high-touch surfaces and glass doors, emptying trash cans, and spot sweeping. Promptly cleaning up spills and placing wet floor signs to prevent slip-and-fall accidents. Sweeping entryways, emptying trash cans along exterior of building and walkways. Resetting breakrooms and conference areas after luncheon and/or meetings. Experience Must have the ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended hours. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and must be able to present a professional, helpful demeanor to staff, visitors, and/or customers. Must have 2-3 years of previous janitorial or custodial and customer service experience. Must have knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety standards related to custodial work. Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards. Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions, consistently.
