This role ensures that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, supporting a clean and healthy learning environment for students and staff.

Develop and manage cleaning schedules to meet school needs and special events. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and safety regulations. Train janitorial staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed. Address and resolve complaints or issues related to janitorial services. Collaborate with school administrators and maintenance teams to align custodial services with facility needs. Assist in hiring, onboarding, and evaluating janitorial staff performance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Prepare reports and maintain records of cleaning activities and staff performance. High school diploma or GED required; additional vocational training or certifications preferred. Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial or custodial services, preferably in an educational setting. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software. Ability to lift and operate cleaning equipment and stand for extended periods. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
