Day Porter

Job Summary As a Day Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. Your energetic approach will ensure that every corner shines, creating a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. You'll be responsible for various cleaning tasks, floor care, and general maintenance duties that keep our spaces looking their best throughout the day. Shift start and end time is 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. What you'll do Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are tidy and presentable. Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Assist with custodial duties in commercial settings as needed. Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies at all times. Respond promptly to spills or messes to prevent accidents and maintain safety. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management. Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards across the facility. Engage in industrial cleaning tasks as required to maintain operational efficiency. Disgarding trash throughout the shift. Basic qualifications Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently. Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties. Preferred qualifications Experience in commercial cleaning environments . Good communication skill Background in facilities maintenance or porter roles is highly desirable.
