Furniture Warehouse Porter (122169) #MAUI_INDEED We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Furniture Warehouse Porter to join a furniture store in Kahului. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, handling, and maintaining furniture inventory. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Interested? Apply Now! Hours Full-time, days and times will vary Location Kahului, Maui Pay $23 an hour Responsibilities Receive, unpack, load, and unload furniture Maintain furniture in optimal condition and perform minor repairs as needed Complete proper paperwork to track inventory in the computer system Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior facility areas Assist in rearranging and setting up floor displays Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks Assist in inventory functions, including physical movement, paperwork monitoring, and inventory cycles and audits Help customers with wrapping and loading merchandise into their vehicles Perform daily maintenance tasks such as sweeping parking lots, emptying trash receptacles, and vacuuming showrooms and office areas Qualifications Ability to lift up to 75lbs and exert up to 100lbs of force occasionally Capable of frequent pushing, pulling, and lifting objects Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment Ability to read and follow instructions Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy Safety-conscious attitude Previous stock/warehouse experience (3-6 months) preferred High School diploma or equivalent preferred
