Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all designated areas are kept spotless, sanitized, and well-maintained. Your energetic approach will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients alike. This position offers flexible evening hours perfect for individuals looking to contribute to a professional setting while balancing other commitments. Your dedication to cleanliness and safety will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our facilities. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across various areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment Conduct sanitation procedures such as trash removal, sweeping and mopping,disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies to uphold hygiene standards. Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy cleaning supplies or equipment to prevent injuries. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, is highly desirable. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents is essential. Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance will be considered an asset. Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with staff and visitors while maintaining a positive attitude. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods is necessary. Monday through Friday For three and a half hour.
