Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

We currently perform janitorial building services, mechanical engineering, HVAC and maintenance services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Kaua'i, O'ahu, Maui and Hawai'i island. We also offer restoration services for various issues, including water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation on Oahu. Key Responsibilities:
Ability to travel to various assigned worksites within a single day. Competence in performing tasks under any weather conditions. Execute scheduled cleaning services according to site timelines. A strong commitment to maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants is crucial for this role. Attention to detail is essential. A willingness to learn is vital. Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Properly utilize and care for custodial equipment and supplies. Report any issues to the Supervisor while safeguarding client property. Ensure the cleanliness of communal areas within the building by:
  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Vacuuming floors and carpets
  • Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste in designated areas.
  • Restock supplies as needed.
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as counters, door handles, and elevators.
  • Clean glass doors, entry areas, and interior surfaces.
  • Clean restrooms, maintain entry mats and lobby spaces.
  • Tidy up lunchroom or breakroom counters and sinks.
  • Inspect and clean sidewalks, parking areas, and entrances.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of ATMs and other assigned locations.
  • Maintain furniture and fixtures effectively. Ensure all tasks are completed with consistent cleanliness, showcasing attention to detail and adhering to HBM's performance standards: clean, complete, inspect, correct, and report. Carry out other duties as assigned by the HBM Supervisor.
Skills/Qualifications:
Must pass HBM prescreen check Must have a valid Hawaii driver's license and reliable vehicle. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred Previous janitorial, custodian experience or related experience is preferred, and willing to train Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English Must have good public relations skills and communication Applicants must perform basic manual labor, clean common areas, press, push, pull, frequently lift 40lbs, carry a minimum of 25lbs (up to 50lbs), be able to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, walk, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk up and down the stairs and use a ladder climb up and down and stand throughout their shifts.
