Required Qualifications:
Ability to safely operate high‑pressure cleaning systems and understand basic mechanical processes. Knowledge of cleaning agents, dilution ratios, and proper chemical handling. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs , bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to safety protocols. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Overview:
The Pressure Wash Cleaning Technician is responsible for the thorough cleaning, washing, and surface maintenance of rolling stock assets (rolling military equipment). The technician ensures all equipment meets cleanliness, safety, and appearance standards to support daily operations and regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform exterior and interior pressure‑wash cleaning using industrial high‑pressure equipment and approved detergents. Remove heavy grime, oil, residue, corrosion buildup, graffiti, dirt, and environmental contaminants from assets without damaging paint, decals, electrical components, or sensitive mechanical parts. Set up, operate, and safely maintain pressure‑washing equipment, pumps, hoses, ladders, and water reclaim systems. Follow all safety protocols related to chemical usage, wastewater disposal, equipment operation, PPE, and work‑zone setup. Inspect assets before and after cleaning; identify areas requiring additional work or repair, and report issues to maintenance supervisors. Perform routine checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance on pressure‑wash tools to ensure proper working condition. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring safe and efficient movement around rolling stock equipment. Comply with OSHA, environmental, and company operational standards.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
