Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning Specialist to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness are upheld. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the comfort and safety of our staff, clients, and visitors. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle various cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, window washing, and trash removal to maintain a spotless environment. Operate custodial equipment safely, including floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and industrial vacuums, following all safety procedures. Manage chemical agents safely by understanding proper handling, storage, and disposal procedures in compliance with safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or maintenance issues requiring escalation. Follow established sanitation standards to promote health and safety across all areas of the facility. Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning practices. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting in accordance with safe lifting practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and visitors. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
