ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Dependable and punctual with consistent attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with campers, guests, staff, volunteers, and rental groups Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of campers and guests Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds , as required Previous commercial housekeeping experience preferred, but not required

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning & Sanitation Clean and disinfect bathrooms, cabins, offices, common areas, kitchens, dining areas, and meeting spaces Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas Clean mirrors, windows, doors, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces Empty trash and replace liners Maintain clean and sanitary conditions throughout all facilities Address spills, messes, and other cleaning needs promptly Laundry & Linens Collect, wash, dry, fold, and properly store towels, bedding, and other linens Maintain adequate supplies of clean linens and towels Keep laundry areas clean and organized Camp & Rental Support Prepare facilities for incoming campers, guests, groups, and rental events Clean and reset facilities following departures, events, and rentals Restock bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas with necessary supplies Inspect rooms and common areas after use and report damage, missing items, or maintenance concerns Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all Camp Courageous visitors If you are dependable, take pride in your work, and want to make a meaningful difference in a mission-focused environment, we encourage you to apply.
