A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

What You'll Do:
Clean and sanitize patient care areas, exam rooms, operatories, waiting areas, hallways, offices, and restrooms. Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, counters, chairs, and shared equipment. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and deep-clean floors as required. Empty and replace trash, recycling, and sanitary receptacles following infection-control guidelines. Report maintenance or safety concerns to the Facilities Manager and Clinic Manager. Demonstrate a helpful, professional, and mission-driven approach when interacting with patients, staff, and vendors.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
Prior custodial or cleaning experience required; experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred.
Skills:
Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and infection-control protocols; strong attention to detail; reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
