Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This vital role involves performing thorough cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas are spotless, organized, and well-maintained. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across various areas such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces. Conduct detailed floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, stripping, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance. Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability for staff and visitors. Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate team. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all facilities. Maintain cleanliness logs and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care (buffing, stripping), industrial cleaning methods, and general facilities maintenance. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, floor scrubbers, or vacuums safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality. Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
