Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs and maintenance tasks. Work on diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics projects Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical systems. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, transmission repair, suspension systems repair and brake repair. Knowledge of diesel engine repair and diesel mechanics is highly desirable. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, auto estimating processes. Demonstrated ability to use mechanical knowledge combined with power tools and welding techniques for effective repairs. Prior experience working on both light vehicles and heavy equipment mechanics projects is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a commitment to quality workmanship; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
