Summary Valley County is looking for a Custodian to provide cleaning services for its various office buildings in Cascade. This is a crucial role responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all county employees and the public. This is a full-time position with full employee benefits. Typical Duties & Responsibilities Typical duties would involve cleaning work areas, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, and break areas. Cleaning tasks would include mixing and preparing cleaning materials and chemicals, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, scrubbing and disinfecting restroom sinks, toilets, mirrors, windows, and surface areas, replacing soap and paper products, dusting, wiping, polishing, and tidying work areas and offices, and emptying garbage cans. Typical Qualifications We are looking for someone with previous experience performing cleaning or housekeeping duties, preferably in a professional work setting. Additionally, we are looking for someone willing to work with various cleaning supplies and chemicals, and who is able to spend long hours on their feet while performing repetitive physical tasks with their hands.
