at Syringa Hospital & Clinics in Grangeville, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Summary Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary facility (Hospital and all Syringa clinics) including all patient and visitor areas. Responsible for laundry and general cleaning. Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for cleaning all administrative and patient care areas as directed by the supervisor. Performs extra cleaning when directed. Extra cleaning includes, but not limited to washing down walls, windows, scouring sinks, showers, window shades, baseboards, ceilings, and other non-daily cleaning activities.
  • Maintain floors including waxing, buffing, carpet cleaning, vacuuming, mopping as assigned. Other duties as requested by the supervisor. Responsible for knowledge of all applicable hospital and department policies and procedures.
  • Participate in mandatory training on EHR and Time & Attendance and demonstrate basic competency in the functions applicable to their role
  • Works closely with all departments
  • Must be able and willing to work well and communicate with other employees, departments, customers, and patients. Must be willing to work a weekend rotation or other shifts as needed.
  • Must be willing to do callbacks for late check-outs, cleaning of the ER, or for emergency surgeries as needed.
  • Position requires access to highly confidential information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Requirements
