Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and reliable Part Time Evening Janitor to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of a busy dental office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial experience who enjoy working independently and maintaining high standards of hygiene in a professional setting. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all patient and staff areas, including treatment rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and hallways Handle cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and cleaning cloths Manage the safe handling and use of chemical agents for sanitation purposes in accordance with safety protocols Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure efficient workspace organization Follow strict safety procedures during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly Adhere to facility-specific sanitation standards to promote a healthy environment for patients and staff Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or healthcare settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and chemical handling safety procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and cleanliness standards Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently during scheduled shifts Customer service skills to interact professionally with staff when needed Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools such as floor buffers and custodial maintenance equipment Join our team to help create a pristine environment where patients feel comfortable and staff can work confidently.
