Job Description
We are looking for Night Custodians to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment. This year‑round position performs routine cleaning, sanitizes classrooms and common areas, and works independently during evening hours to support an orderly setting for students, staff, and visitors. When school is not in session, this position will work together with other custodians to complete cleaning projects and building‑readiness tasks to prepare for the upcoming school year. Qualifications Include:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to perform routine custodial tasks, including lifting, standing, and moving equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe school environment Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently during evening hours Ability to follow established cleaning routines and safety procedures Strong communication and teamwork skills when interacting with staff Must pass a background check through theIdaho State Department of Education Benefits:
Full time employees receive district‑paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits. The district covers 100% of the employee health insurance premium on the driver plan and 70% of toward this plan for dependent coverage. Additional benefits include sick and personal leave in accordance with Board Policy and Idaho Code (Sick Leave). Twelve‑month employees also recieve vacation leave upon the completion of a full year of employment. Full‑time employees participate in the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI), with full retirement available when the employee's age and years of Idaho service total 90 or at age 65.Pay:

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.
