Full-Time Custodian Position Overview:

Marquette Catholic High School is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time custodian. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, cafeteria, and gymnasium Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces daily Empty trash and recycling throughout the building Set up and tear down spaces for school events and activities Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies Perform routine building maintenance tasks as needed Assist with safety and cleanliness standards across campus During summer months, strip, wax, and refinish floors

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous custodial or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and work ethic Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks throughout the day Dependable and punctual
