The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. As a Cleaner, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for every patient, visitor, and team member who enters our facility. Your work is essential to infection prevention, patient safety, and the exceptional healthcare experience our communities expect. Every room you prepare directly supports outstanding patient care. As a Housekeeping Worker, a typical day might include the following: Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, operating rooms, and assigned hospital areas in a timely manner. Perform trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and other environmental services duties according to hospital policies. Understand and properly handle medical, hazardous, and pharmaceutical waste. Clean surgical equipment, surgical invasive areas, isolation areas, and off-site campus areas as assigned. Maintain an adequate stock of supplies and chemicals. Work independently while meeting department quality standards. Lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds. Support Joint Commission and Department of Health compliance standards. Candidates should be comfortable performing physically active work, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. This full-time 37.5hr. position is scheduled from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and includes rotating weekends and holidays. Experience working within the Joint Commission and Department of Health standards is a plus.
