Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or residential cleaning, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. This role is essential in supporting the overall maintenance and appearance of our premises, contributing to a positive experience for employees and visitors alike. Duties Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas Handle specialized cleaning tasks for restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas Assist with custodial responsibilities including window washing, wall cleaning, and light maintenance tasks Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing Follow safety protocols and proper procedures to ensure a safe working environment Support facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work, with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met Ability to work independently. Good organizational skills for managing supplies and completing assigned tasks efficiently Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the cleanliness and safety of our facilities while developing valuable skills in maintenance and custodial services.
