Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Janitors to join our team. As a Janitor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic organization where you can make a positive impact on our working environment.Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors, as well as dusting and polishing surfaces.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and supplies to clean hard-to-reach areas and surfaces.
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks on a regular basis, including carpet cleaning and window cleaning.
- Take on porter duties, including picking up trash and recyclables, and transporting supplies.
- Keep storage areas organized and tidy, ensuring that all cleaning supplies are easily accessible.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Work independently or as part of a team to achieve cleaning and maintenance objectives.
- Collaborate with other facility staff to ensure that all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest standards.
Skills:
- Experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is required.
- Knowledge of custodial and floor care procedures is essential.
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail is necessary.
- Experience with industrial cleaning is preferred.
- Residential painting experience is not necessary for this role, but is a plus.
- Familiarity with buffing and other floor care techniques is beneficial.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others are necessary.
