Job Description/Overview:

The Shop Porter position is responsible for working in the shop supporting the technicians and maintaining the shop and yard by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, clearing debris throughout, empty trash, and other tasks as needed. This position requires you to assist with special projects or duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements Experience working in a mechanic shop is a plus Clean driving record Desire to learn and expand responsibilities Responsibilities Sweep, shovel, or vacuum loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and remove from work areas. Takes direction from Lead Technician and Yard Manager. Responsible for following company safety rules. Reports any concerns to the Lead Technician and Yard Manager. Keeps the shop floor and yard organized. Running parts and supplies for the shop. Move equipment to various areas in the shop and yard as needed/requested. Additional tasks as needed.
