BUILDING & GROUNDS JANITOR FUNCTION
Perform custodial building maintenance services of community buildings.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for maintaining a five (5) story condominium building, so it remains clean, safe, and organized, for our residents each day. On weekends you will assist in maintaining our other buildings in the Community.- Perform routine cleaning duties such as dusting, wiping down surfaces, vacuuming, mopping floors, emptying trash, pulling trash dumpster receptacles out three (3) days a week, and recycling receptacles one (1) day a week.
- Maintain laundry rooms, laundry machines and dryers and social rooms.
- Perform basic light maintenance work
- replace light bulbs, clean pictures, clean ceilings lights, mop floors for the lobby, stairs in stairwells, clean stairwell walls, elevator cleaning of floors, walls and other areas.
- Maintain and shovel sidewalks and spread de-icing materials during snow related events.
- Assist with facility events with room preparation & set-up.
- Grounds maintenance
- light ground maintenance and flower bed maintenance.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
- Able to work independently or in a group setting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain and monitor mechanical rooms.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires good understanding of standard cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to understand simple oral or written instructions.
- Proficient in the operation of powered equipment such as vacuums, power washers, leaf blowers, snow throwers, etc.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 year's experience in building maintenance and grounds operations (Preferred, not required).
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Pass the pre-employment drug test
- Pass the background check.

Hourly Pay- $19.00 Full Time Day Shift
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Tuesday/Wednesday Off) 6:30am
- 3:00pm
