This role plays a critical part in ensuring Finch Coffee operates efficiently by keeping all customer and employee areas clean, inventory replenished, and supplies readily available. The ideal candidate takes pride in cleanliness, works independently, and understands that attention to detail creates a great customer experience. Primary ResponsibilitiesCleaning & Sanitation Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, kitchen, bar area, and restrooms. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the day. Wipe down tables, counters, doors, windows, and other high-touch surfaces. Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners. Clean and sanitize equipment, shelving, refrigerators, and storage areas. Wash dishes and keep the dishwashing area clean and organized. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists. Inventory & Stocking Keep all coffee bar supplies fully stocked, including cups, lids, sleeves, straws, napkins, syrups, milk, and other café essentials. Restock kitchen ingredients and grab-and-go products as needed. Organize storage rooms, refrigerators, and freezers. Rotate inventory using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method. Receive deliveries and properly store inventory. Notify management when inventory is running low. Assist with inventory counts and organization. General Support Assist the team during busy periods by keeping workstations clean and stocked. Help set up the café before opening and restore it after closing. Move supplies and equipment safely throughout the café. Complete additional operational tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous cleaning, restaurant, or coffee shop experience is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and supplies.
