A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Shawnee Health Service is seeking a part-time Custodian I for our Shawnee Health Marion Pediatric Dental location. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 5pm to 10pm. This position reports directly to Maintenance II. Responsibilities Gather and empty trash. Clean and sanitize high touch areas Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees. Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance 2-5 years experience, preferred May require lifting up to 50 pounds Salary $15 per hour
