A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

OPRF- WHO WE ARE… Oak Park and River Forest High School , or OPRF , is a comprehensive public high school located in Oak Park, IL, a suburb eight miles due west of downtown Chicago.
Areas of Responsibility:
Second floor: 2308B and 2308C Third floor: 3280A, 3280B, 3280C, 3280D, 3258A, 3258B Boys East washroom near 3121, Girls East washroom near 3121, Boys West washroom near 3306, Girls West washroom near 3306 Fourth floor: 4190, 4394A, 4394B, 4394, 4258C, 4258A Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Essential Job Duties:
Clean and disinfect all urinals, toilets, sinks, and floors. Clean mirrors, walls, and partitions. Clean hand blowers and towel dispensers. Clean doors and ceiling vents. Dust all ceiling light fixtures. Replace toilet tissue and paper towels in all washrooms. Empty sanitary napkin bags. Fill soap dispensers. Remove graffiti. Flush floor drains in washrooms. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Competencies:
