Porter

Encore Village is currently hiring for a full time Porter job position, days and pm shifts. Will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable and satisfying surrounding for the residents and guests.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment/tools such as vacuums, mops, dust mops, darts, sweeper extractors, scrubbers, general floor care equipment. Remove trash by emptying trash containers; transporting materials to disposal area. Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection free condition. Required to work in residential and common areas as well as public washrooms, pool and other recreational areas. Must handle various cleaning chemicals and comply with regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and State Health Department. Read and understand MSDS and labels. Must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing of material or cleaning of blood and body fluids in accordance with OSHA bloodborne pathogens standards. Maintain daily and project schedules and notify manager of any changes. Perform requests such as assistance with leakage or spills. Perform preventive maintenance inspections and tasks as scheduled. Demonstrate the ability to interact appropriately with residents as well as work in a timely and efficient manner.

Experience:

Pay:

$16.32 - $17.94 per hour
