Conduct sanitation procedures to ensure all surfaces meet health standards, including disinfecting high-touch areas regularly. Utilize custodial experience and industrial cleaning techniques to maintain cleanliness in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. Operate cleaning equipment efficiently while following safe lifting practices for heavy lifting tasks involved in moving furniture or bulky supplies. Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs or notifying maintenance teams of larger issues requiring attention. Follow safety protocols consistently to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and others, including proper storage of chemicals and safe manual handling practices. Skills Proven experience in cleaning and janitorial work with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning standards. Skilled in the use of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and other custodial tools. Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation best practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed.
