Job Overview America's Gym is looking for a dependable, hardworking full-time Porter / Cleaning professional to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment within our fitness facility. We take a lot of pride in the cleanliness and appearance of our facility. We are looking for someone who notices the details, works efficiently, and takes ownership of keeping the gym looking its best every day. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize gym equipment and workout areas Clean locker rooms, bathrooms, showers, sinks, mirrors, and other high-use areas Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility Clean glass, doors, mirrors, and other surfaces Dust equipment, fixtures, ledges, and hard-to-reach areas Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies Keep cleaning and storage areas organized Pick up and organize weights, plates, and equipment when necessary Monitor the facility throughout the shift and clean areas as needed Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment to management Assist with other general cleaning and facility-maintenance tasks Qualifications Dependable and punctual Strong attention to detail Able to work independently without constant supervision Takes pride in keeping a facility extremely clean Comfortable working in an active gym environment Able to be on your feet for extended periods Able to bend, lift, carry, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, porter, or gym-cleaning experience is preferred, but not required

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
