What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Will be responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy facility environment to include; Offices, Bathrooms, Breakroom and Manufacturing Floor Be able to run/maintain various types of cleaning equipment: Scrubbers, Riders, Manual and Walk Behinds Daily activities of: Sweeping, Vacuuming, Mopping, Dusting, cleaning Windows and collecting taking out Trash/Community Recycling Testing/Recording of eyewash and safety shower stations Maintenance and recordkeeping for floor and sink drains Must be dependable and able to follow directions in verbal and written form Able to work as team and independently daily to complete routine and other tasks as needed and have attention to detail
Physical Requirement:
Able to climb ladders, bend, stoop, lift, squat and walk on concrete floors consistently throughout the

2nd Shift (3:00-11;15)
Additional Skills/Knowledge Preferred:

Essential Functions:
Able to; stand, twist, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, climb ladders and stairs and lift on a continuous basis for an 8-hour work day.
